The much-anticipated series is set to kick off on December 26 at the SuperSport Park Cricket Stadium in Centurion, followed by the second Test scheduled for January 3, 2024, at the Newlands Cricket Ground in Cape Town.

Having been rested for the T20Is and subsequent ODIs against South Africa, Kohli is expected to play a pivotal role in the Test matches.
